The Overnightscape and The Rampler are now ended, and will not continue. However, just about everything that these shows represent is being continued on the WFMU show and in the Underground.

  1. Man, I was just getting used to The Rampler, but you gotta do what you gotta do. Hope UG will feature street recording. Guess I should listen before commenting further :-).

  2. Well done Frank, that must have been a difficult decision for you, but you grabbed it by the balls.

    Long live The Underground.

  3. Very sad news to actually hear the words come out of your mouth. RIP Overnightscape and Rampler, thanks for all the hours of fentertainment. Glad you are still going to send us onsug episodes from time to time and we also have the WFMU shows each week as well. Thank you Frank for all your hard work, I don’t think people realize how much time and effort you have put into all these projects over the years. Tell Denise thanks for sharing her husband with us every day. I will wait for the release of the unsug box and put it on my ipod and relive all the hours of fentertainment. One last thing Frank, thank you for allowing me to make a lot of great friend from around the world. We all met because of your show and I am much richer for their friendships.
    Stay classy Frank Edward Nora,

  4. Just subscribed to the rss feed on wfmu.org. I think you made a wise decision here, go and spend more time with Denice.

I am looking forward to the WFMU shows and whatever you decide to release here on ONSUG.

  6. Frank,

sure this had to be a tough one for ya. WFMU is a step forward, and focusing on that will result in even better Ramplers! best of luck…

  7. Good move. I am happy for you. Maybe now I can catch up on all those past shows.
5 or 6 years of hard work on the ONS and Rampler and You did it better than anyone could have.

I am glad we can still get a regular fen feed here at the underground and on wfmu.
Will be sure to stay tuned.

Congratulations on the decision, I know that was not easy for you. I owe you many more a cigar for all your entertainment.

    Viva L’underground.

PEACE. Eddie (now in Ireland, again)

  8. I won’t lie and say that I’m not disappointed. I love both ONS and Rampler. Sad to see them go but I’m sure you will have lots of audio insanity to bestow upon us in the months and years to come. Good luck and thanks.
