Sarjé and Kit converse from Minneapolis, MN.  Recorded on a noisily-wind-gusty day: April 15, 2010.

Correction on “Springsteen” song comment from the “Memory…” episode, screen-printing, graphic novel (FYI: “Sarah” = Sarjé), weather, micro-antennae, cat interruption, augmented reality, prosthetics and robotics, locked-in syndrome, Stephen King, research vs. experience, Denmark, Skovsen, alternative energies/wind farms, traveling “up north,” Minnesota mining (Kit meant Sulfide mining and Sulphuric acid runoff, not Phosphoric).

Ludlow’s Island/Dreamcatcher cabin, University of MN at Morris, electric cars, “upcycling,” “plarn,” design (“snobs”), Target stores, Mark Dayton, MN DFL senatorial candidate selection, trip to Washington DC, local Fortune-500 companies, Issac Mizrahi, weight and fashion, feminism, gender differences, child rearing, “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” vs. “Transform Me,” human sexuality, the “Twinkie Defense.”

My cell phone vibrates really loudly, voices from around the country, Midwestern cities, Joe Basel (controversy), other controversies at Morris, “Cootie Shots,” sexuality in America, PRCA (http://prairierenaissance.org/), Athena Kildegaard, Della Conroy, Stirling Scotland art gallery (Stirling Smith, not “South” — http://www.smithartgallery.demon.co.uk/), art in Minnesota, Rochester, scooter interruption, differences between Minneapolis and St. Paul.

RNC, Xcel Energy Center, Target Center, Target Field, Bourdain (on April 23, 2010), Minneapolis Institute of Arts special exhibit, “White Christmas.”  Distinct neighborhoods (Kit is trying to think of Riverside Plaza, which is on the west bank of Minneapolis), local music, San Francisco vs. Twin Cities, “#1 Bike City,” Chicago, clean cities, ALDI (clarification).  Thanks, Kit, interviews and live shows.
