15:36 – Welcome to Tape Land! On each episode, I will be presenting the audio of a cassette tape from my collection. It’s a way to help motivate me to digitize more of my archives.
Today’s tape is the raw audio of a recording session for my audio comedy series Beublin A. Richardson – for the last episode – Episode 25, “All My Helicoptersâ€.
Original description: “Beublin A. Richardson gets thrown in jail and meets his old friend Horace Doom and ice-cream-store-bomber Gene Bossel.â€
It was recorded on May 12, 2001, at Video Game Connections, at a strip mall in Howell, NJ. There’s a faint clicking sound in the background – there was something wrong with the Sony Walkman recorder.
In the final version, I applied an audio filter to make it sound like they were indoors. Here, you can hear the original sound of the recording.
