I think the fact that Andy’s disappeared PROVES that he was, in fact, Steve Rocco. Steve Rocco’s imprisonment corresponds with Andy’s disappearance.

I agree with Garrod – the harsh message on AndyKaufmanLives is a little upsetting. Kind of a kick in the balls to everyone following him on Twitter, like we don’t matter a hamster’s shit to him.

i’m 90% sure he’s alive and 110% sure he could help change the world for the better using his innocent brand of performance art if he wanted to. He already has in a way. It’s fine with me if he wants to deprive the world of his talent and capacity for inspiring a wider audience of people. Guess that would be up to him, eh? at least it sure is fun to think about it.

This topic has always been a lot of fun, and always very interesting and thought-provoking. A lot of themes are brought up in investigating these matters, such as the nature of celebrity and identity, pop culture, secrecy, etc.

As far as the central question – is the real Andy Kaufman involved – I do still believe it is possible. Right now I would say that I think there’s a 15% chance the the real Andy Kaufman is involved.

If the real Andy Kaufman is indeed involved, I think there’s a 90% chance we will never know. And that’s fine with me.

What do you really think about all this Andy Kaufman business that seems to have been foisted on you? Has your opion gone up from 20% yet? Think it’s just an internet hoax? Most days I believe that’s what it is. Some days I convince myself that he really has something to do with the weirdness. Can you imagine what Mighty Mouse could do for you if he’s still alive and you get the scoop? That would be just too cool.
