(turns it out it’s Ruth Etting, not Annette Hanshaw), transmission, living in the 1920s, Turn Back the Clock, rendered my wife speechless, Helen Kane, radio airchecks, Bob Lassiter, popular music when you’re young, “real” radio, our Internet radio shows will be preserved for generations, keeping up with new Onsug material, Annette Hanshaw, on the ISU campus, Normal Theater, CVS, window-shopping at North Street Records, cool street sounds, what campus was like in the mid-‘90s, Halloween 2011, Man of Constant Sorrow, I Wanna Be Loved By You, night noises, where my wife used to live, where I used to live, book fairs when I was a kid, early blues, Olive Garden, the plaza with Mega Replay in it, I don’t like Twilight, wondering if my van is ready, cousin twice removed?, too much in show notes?, PQ Ribber’s excitement, front seat.
