40:10 – This episode was recorded using my iPhone. Unfortunately, despite much effort, I was unable to retrieve the recorded file from the iPhone onto my computer, so I was forced to play it on the iPhone while setting my digital voice recorder up to the speaker in order to preserve the recording in some form. There must have been a better way, but after trying everything I can think of and failing even after consulting the online Audacity manual (as well as various Apple FAQs, etc.) I just gave up in favor of the tried-and-true voice recorder. I’ll figure it out someday when I have a bit more patience. In the meantime, enjoy this episode that features talk of Bi-Coastal Becky’s generosity, home recording in the past, laundry, the impending Shambleshow #100, audio tour of part of the house until I get distracted and forget to go upstairs, Community’s renewal, the penultimate episode of The Office, the memory of Johnny Carson, Late Night With Seth Meyers, disappointment over SNL hosted by Kristen Wiig, Doctor Who online fandom, parking lot. Recorded 5/14/13. Theme song: You Ain’t Gonna Get It (Jaycob’s Ladder, Public Domain).
