  1. John Cameron would doubtless be happy to know that in their first Premier League match of the season this Saturday Tottenham Hotspur put into practice his philosophy of the half back (or central defender as we now call them) being both a defensive and offensive player, with Eric Dier scoring the winning goal on his debut. To be fair, though, even though he started the match (against West Ham) as ‘half back’, by the time he scored he’d been moved to full back.

Fascinating to hear the readings from his book. Sadly, Cameron isn’t as well remembered as he should be, (even by us Spurs fans), despite a successful career as both player and manager.

  2. What a perfect psycho story Chad, brilliant twisted imagery with creepy sound effects I’m just the right places…. Genius.

  3. Thanks Eddie. A lot of trauma then but it’s fun to laugh about it now.
