vscastduckert (17:13) Mega-fan “Dave in Wisconsin” Duckert had an idea. What if he foisted “Vic and Sade” on some family and friends and caught their audio reactions? A great idea, but 78 years late!

Your host is Dave Duckert.

Radio Free Shambles: Call It “The Wallet” (4/26/17)

rfs_witchy29:39 – Forgot my wallet, now I know who I am, Kelly’s wallet, Tapestry, washing the dishes, field recording about ice cube trays, upcoming Overnightscape Central, Woody Allen wants us to think he’s irresistible to women, review of Irrational Man, other Woody Allen films, fun time at work this week. Recorded 4/25/17. RFS 117.

For some reason I had trouble deciding on a title for this episode. At various points it was titled Wallet, Macaroni, Stubborn Macaroni, Macaroni Stuck To Dishes, Forgot To Bring My Wallet, and even Macaroni Wallet. I like the sound of Call It “The Wallet”, so that’s the one that wins.

Closing theme: Parcel Post by Jimbo.

Hometownville: Episode 11 – Nostalgic Bits (4/26/17)

unnamed (51:20) For fun and nostalgia, Jimbo brings back to life (ala’ Gadzooks!) several fun skits from Hometownville. This is not necessarily “The Best of”, but more of a representation of the show that we all look back on with fondness.

In reality, the show was doomed for failure because of logistics. But we gave it a shot and certainly, many good things – including memories and smiles – came out of it.
