The Overnightscape runs two hours now (in history) and so, I’ve at least cut that in half.  It’s a maddening job.  Still, great content by Nora.

The Frank Nora Time Machine – Hosted by Jimbo – (5/8/15) 012

(54:26) – Welcome to The Frank Nora Time Machine (Hosted by Jimbo)

Get ready to hear some of the best all-time bits of Frank Edward Nora. Some of the bits here last seconds, some a few minutes… but none of them last 263 days – (roughly the time it would take someone to listen to every Frank Nora story.)

Frank has fascinating stories, commutes and works in a great city, reviews malls, odd snacks and drinks. Jimbo adds his own two cents in unusual ways, and together, they make this series one of the most unique you have ever heard.

• Introduction, The Overnightscape #45 (1/25/04) the mysteries of spring water, feminine stores and the most convoluted product name ever, J: moist towelettes, taking over the world, violating the toothbrush standard, J: Walmart moving stock • from The Overnightscape #46 (2/1/04) nada… • from The Overnightscape #47 (2/8/04) pet peeve – people & new electronics, Frank predicts Google Glass, pagers • from The Overnightscape #48 (2/15/04) misadventures at the Acme supermarket – new age drinks – ** – “Doritos controversy” – Barney Miller DVDs in cereal, Russell orders groceries, something’s not right in Secaucus, patching out

The Brian Jude Show #67: Little Shop of Hanukkah (12/16/2011)

43:29 – Recorded December 16, 2011.

My son Jacob’s latest obsession has been “Little Shop of Horrors” – the Off Broadway soundtrack, the movie, different performance clips on YouTube, you name it! So my wife Melanie and I surprised him with an early Hanukkah gift – we took him to the Repertory Company High School for the Theatre Arts, where they did a performance of the show! When the cast heard that we came in from Passiac to see it just because he loves the show, they had the director bring us backstage so they could meet him! Listen along to our adventure – one he’ll treasure for the rest of his life! (Includes a couple vintage TV commercials from the original Broadway show!)

Theme music: “The Chasing Game” by Friday’s Child.

goodrob13 music show 8 – (2/19/11)

30:56 – Goodrob13 Music Show episode 8: Figuring out the best spot to stand on the train platform, my weird experience coming out of the PATH station this morning, scaffolding in NYC, being more efficient when paying for groceries, most people in front of me in line taking 10 times longer than I do, bank tellers and post offices, most people entering and exiting elevators too slowly, unusually warm weather, my hatred of obnoxiously loud motorcycles, why it’s so important to leave comments on podcasts, the importance of online interaction and discussion, buying an electric guitar soon, and being realistic and reasonable about my music equipment and prices.
