It’s a tricky business deciding whether to continue on the path of podcastry or not. Luckily, I simply enjoy the process. It is VERY odd, indeed how few ‘friends’ will listen in. The idea of trying to do some demo/songs is a good one – you certainly have some chops – ya just need to pick your good bits and make songs from them.

Every time I’ve called for a response from the audience, I’ve gotten very low results, and it was quite discouraging. Someone told me that believe only one in ten people would get around to responding to such a request… so you can multiply your results by ten. Though this is highly unscientific…
I struggle with these questions all the time… but I think it’s good to keep going, to keep recording. This style of show is not something anyone would start fresh with at the moment – but we have this unique history and tradition and momentum which keeps our strange channel going… and I honestly think it’s important in the scheme of things, and we’re pretty much the only ones doing it…

Ya thanks, it is a weird dimension we find ourselves in. One of truth? Maybe that’s why it’s not fitting in to the current world. I must continue to believe we are important and are making a difference to some peoples lives. Our Day may come in the form of “audio blogging” or other terminology’s. I shall aim to keep spirits high and be prolific. If nothing else we tried and are better and more enriched for it…

I try never to look at my Blogger or Listen stats before a show, because I’m afraid they’ll discourage me. But I get the biggest high after I finish recording. So that’s kind of rewarding. Keep at it!

yeh man dont give up we’re out here listening. I quite enjoy cloudbase and listening to happy getting told to stay out of the shit when I’m on my commute.
You should definately carry on, this listener on this other side of the world in Sydney tunes in a good few times a week.
