At the same time you were at your Dead Mall on Saturday, I was at one also. We stopped by one in Huntsville, AL that I estimated to have about 15% occupancy. Super creepy and surreal; the ironic thing, though, is that all the stores that have disappeared from other malls (ie. FYE, Spencer’s Gifts, an ARCADE and indoor putt-putt complex) were all alive and well! Great show by the way.

amazing journey! Thanks for sharing this! I saw a few malls like that in Kuala Lumpur once.
Will the visuals be published anywhere?
Frank, you should visit Jakarta (in particular) when you get a chance. They are crazy about malls. (Most of modern Asia is.) There is practically no life outside of them.
