Frank in NJ and NYC. Snowstorm, voice messed up due to a cold, umbrellas, already 2010 in Australia, pasta, adult daycare mini-bus sliding into bus stop, hazardous conditions, lawn retreat, disabled vehicles, weird dreams (giant plastic coins, Doctor Who), get onto bus, slow going, bail plan, two hours on the bus, shoelaces, sweater, Times Square before the celebration, Nivea, head east, New Year’s resolutions, AC Revisit, low batteries, a great decade of broadcasting, 99 Cent Dreams, bank robbery transmission, and the batteries runs out.

It took me 4.5 hours to get to work. Longest commute of the year resulted in the shortest workday of the year. Decided to take the Belford Ferry home. Too many tourists. Everyone dropping things, running into each other. Strange day.

Ah, this takes me back. A year ago I was commuting 2 hours each way to Dublin, and one day there was snow. Irish people are not accustomed to snow, and never prepared for it.
We left Dublin by car at 5:30pm and reached our house at 1am.
I don’t commute anymore. Wohoo!
