Rubénerd Show 320: The world simulator episode (1/18/16)
Podcast: Play in new window | Download
40:26 – A mini heatwave and monsoon, psychological torture, taking the stairs in lieu of lifts, Sydney’s expensive New Year fireworks, late 1990s DirectX graphics, feeling like the world is a simulation, viewing empty skylines, nihilism and being the only real person, beautiful bird sounds, evening storms, taxis targeting pedestrians, a sufficiently vast universe to harbour other life, evolution, holodecks, philosophical honesty, rendering the world around humans, the observer effect, and that darn Star Trek Prime Directive!

Obviously, you are a moran. Get a brain, morans! USA USA!!! 😉
10 flights of stairs = impressive. Enjoyed, as usual, your descriptions of what you see around you. Other than your jocularity and distinctive voice, this defines you on audio. I wish I could go back and listen to your every podcast.

‘Moran’ is probably only used on GLP but it DID show up in the last GTA game as graffiti.

Thanks Jimbo, I really appreciate it. I tend to view it more as rambling which I’ve tried to cut down on, but this episode I just ran with it, glad someone liked it!
