RBE – Resource based economy is a fools errand.
It wants to replace a simple single abstraction “money” with a nearly infinite amount of undefined abstractions involving all possible “resources, labour” etc.
It’s a very complex solution proposed to replace a very simple solution to the exact same problem.
The dream that this will somehow eliminate all of the natural hierarchy’s which are inherit in any value, judgement, decision, endeavor, desire, mortal limits on time, greed, etc, is naive and foolish.
Before you critique the single abstraction solution of currency, you have to understand why it developed in the first place. It is the best solution we have come up with to solve the same problem you are trying to solve.
There is nothing one can do to eliminate the finite nature of life and the desire to maximize the success of your offspring. You would need to conquer mortality before this would have any chance. We aren’t even close to having unlimited power, water, food, health, or any other resource you can imagine.

Thanks so much for the awesome review Frank! You almost had my name pronunciation right (will have to tell you when we ever talk in person). Also, yes… Carl Sagan most certainly had something to do with the name. The original idea for this project was under the name “Momentary Masters Of A Fraction Of A Dot” (and there is an FB page separate for that one too)! Note, the other band with the name Fraction of a Dot was one I found out about well after I chose this one. But they were a hardcore/Screamo band from Sweden who are no longer together. And yes I did copyright the e.p., but have no problem sharing! Again, thanks for your review… I was honored to hear this finally! 🙂

I also forgot to mention that when I saw all the talk of “Meltdowns†here, I really thought there was a planned tie-in with my recording! Truly a case of Synchronicity! 😉
