  1. Really enjoyed the section on UFOs & belief systems. Your views about the Anunnaki and the Gnostic demiurge have been a big influence on my SERMONS series. On extradimensional beings, I read an excellent book many years ago called Flatland, by Edwin A. Abbott. In the unlikely event that you haven’t already read it, I would highly recommend it.

  2. I somehow got a copy of Flatland when I was a teenager, and it changed my life – it helped me understand the idea of higher spatial dimensions. Another book on the same topic was published in 1984 – “The Planiverse: Computer Contact with a Two-Dimensional World”
by A.K. Dewdney. As I recall, I saw it at a department store in ’84, but didn’t get it until many years later…

  3. Regarding the UFO news not making more waves I think that’s just due to there not being any real new information. Yes verifiable observations of “something” in the sky do happen regularly, we already knew that much. However nowhere as far as I’m aware was it concluded that these observations are of some kind of vehicle or other technological object, or even physical objects at all in the traditional sense.

All the government admired to are observing “areal phenomena”, not crafts, or saucers or aliens. Personally I think UFO observations are generally some kind of unusual atmospheric and/or optical phenomena. In the vein of mirages, auroras, ball lightning, refractions between different layers of gas, charged particles interacting with air currents, magnetic fields (and possibly the metal in planes) and so on (it’s likely not all the same thing). There are all sorts of possibilities that I personally find more plausible than jumping to the conclusion that they must some kind of powered craft made by intelligent beings.
