  1. To further explain the concept of “jumping the shark,” it more specifically refers to an action taken to improve a project’s quality when the quality has already started to waiver, but backfires and ends up making the quality plummet even further.

  2. TV Guide’s website even has a whole page devoted to shows that are now on TV and if they’ve jumped the shark or not.
