Frank Nora Show 1634 – Pan Am (1/18/11)

1:12:59 – Wintry mix, ice storm, The Overnightscape Studio II dismantled, show history, balance between creative dreams and the realities of life, being in a band, headphone wire fused into umbrella handle, messy morning, salt, Overnightscape Central – Facebook, contratulations on 50 episodes! (Manny, Wayne, Brian), cartoon character on the channel, obsessed with the idea of cartoons more than wanting to watch the actual cartoons, sets of colorful characters, plugged into a golden column, unnecessary door smashed, it’s a new thing, Muppet Show flaws, Frankenstein Jr., Japanese anime, K-On!, Ah! My Goddess, Belldandy, anime figurines, Rio: Rainbow Gate!, subway barcode, the influence of Monty Python’s Flying Circus, more show history, a little bitter, the world is weird, night – still raining, visions of the future. Steve Jobs’ health problems, can Apple survive without Steve Jobs?, bold moves, Belgium, a world without Apple, Apple’s possible new streaming initiative, Cayman Islands, squash tournament,  pay one price, amusement parks, beggars, sports of the rich, jai-alai – what the hell?, Rollerball, redoing the room, the Ikea Expedit system, Fight Club, losing all individuality, the Ikea shopping experience, a crowded madhouse, metric system, wires, and get lip balm.
