  1. Frank, I know you don’t want to hear this, but it might be time to break down and get some glasses. Pike Place -> Fire Place does look a bit alike but you have to wonder what else are you misreading? Or maybe you are mildly Dyslexic. Either way you might want to know for sure.

  2. Maybe transporting one’s consciousness to some point in the past
isn’t a passtime or simulation for denizens of the far flung future.
Maybe it’s a prison. Maybe those of us here who feel just a shade out of place
are all criminals, unfit for the future civilization we were born to.

Perhaps they transport our conscious mind here, erase all of our memories, but leave
our feelings intact. As we grow, these feelings, now unmoored from their contextualizing
memories careen about in our heads despereately attempting to attach themselves
to a new experience. This new attachment closes the loop on our errant feelings
and we are no longer tortured by them. Maybe this process takes several lifetimes.

Maybe Buddhist philosophy has it right and ascension into nirvana is a kind of spiritual
    parole.

And the worst part? The real brilliance of this incarceration is there is no advantage in knowing.
If you come to realize the truth about doing time on planet earth, you are more alone then you’ve ever thought.
No one can sympathize, because it truly is not a part of their reality. It really is you. You really are crazy.

Perhaps this is why some parts of the psyche cannot be indulged. Because you can’t play in the dark
and not attract the things that live there.

…Or maybe you need to consider changes which could make these ventures more succesful.

    Choice is yours.
