  1. Love the show Frank, and I completely respect your stance as a vegetarian (or vegan?), but as a nutritionist I should point out that we ARE supposed to eat animals.
Without supplements, we would become very ill indeed if we all lived on a non-animal diet!!
Some people simply choose not to for their own ethical reasons, but the fact remains, we’re omnivores who’ve evolved to eat a mixed diet, as cruel as it may seem!

    All the best, Will.

  2. Will, thanks for your thoughts on this matter… I am a vegetarian… I would consider going vegan but it’s a lot more work, and would make eating at restaurants go from difficult, as it is now, to near impossible.

I would make the point that WE are not these human bodies. When you refer to your body you refer to it as “IT”. So whether these bodies “evolved” or were designed, they are not us. We use them as a puppeteer uses a puppet.

In any case, clearly these bodies are designed to be omnivorous – meaning they can survive eating animals and/OR plants. I think people can live totally healthy lives on a vegetarian diet – there are vast numbers of vegetarians who are not dropping dead for lack of “meat juice” or whatever.

Yes people have been shown to be capable of limitless savagery over the years. But in this case, I would hope people can begin to open their eyes to the utter horror of meat eating – and stop doing it.
