  1. Great to have you back!!

With this week’s Central, I did record a segment and I thought I had emailed it to PQ, but unfortunately something went wrong and the email was just a draft. I was quite upset when I saw my mistake, and PQ has the segment now for next week.

I have noticed as well that The Overnightscape Underground is slowing down. In fact, almost a year ago I was very aware that the the whole thing was not “catching on”, and I spent countless hours working on ideas for how to fix things. And I did have numerous ideas and did try some out – but nothing really addressed the core issues. Overnightscape Central was the one successful idea that came out of that effort.

So a few months ago I was really bummed out by everything and I felt I needed a change, a fresh start. That’s why I returned to The Overnightscape – back on its original website, after 2 years. I thought about cross-posting it to ONSUG as well, but I felt it would be simpler and less confusing to keep it separate.

The Internet world is always changing, and even though right now it’s not a good time for our kind of content, who knows, things might change as time goes on.

  2. Nice to have you back!! I think the important thing with the underground is more consistent postings from us guys. I miss Frank on ONSUG, but this is all inner-workings stuff… we need new traffic and goofy promotional ideas, as well as to accept that what we are doing is very specialized and eclectic and TRULY underground.

  3. A possible compromise might be for Frank to consider occasionally some of his “b-side” stuff here. which was what ONSUG was in the early days.

  4. I like the idea about Frank posting some of his b side material here. Thanks for listening guys!
