Thanks Eddie. Frankly, since discovering what’s going on here I’ve had to completely rethink what I’ve been trying to do with audio. onsug raises the bar so much that I think I should probably go back to broadcasting school. 🙂

Hey guys! I’m loving this episode. 🙂 I’m hoping to get back to contributing to Central soon. For now, until my ailing laptop can be fixed, I will only be able to release Shambleshows on my mother’s computer, which means probably just one episode per week, on around Friday or Saturday. I’m taking a little break from recording as I burned myself out a little with all the vacation field recording last week. But I am working on compiling Shambleshow #52 and hope to have that out this weekend.

Thanks Chad. As PQ said, there was plenty of good stuff spread around on the episode. I’m still blown away by the beauty of the father’s words and the sweetness of Peter’s voice on the 1979 recording Frank submitted.

The good news: my uncle managed to fix my laptop.
The bad news: most or all of my files that were on it were lost.
I lost a couple of field recordings that I wanted to include in a Shambleshow at some point. Also lost a BUNCH of Creative Commons music that I had downloaded for future inclusion in the show. 🙁 I didn’t write down the song titles or artists either, so I’ll have to rely on my faulty memory to try and download them again.
But the laptop was already down before my vacation, so I still have all of my vacation audio intact. And all of my released Shambleshows still exist on Onsug, so thankfully that material is preserved.
Shambleshow #52 should be out today or tomorrow.
