  1. What an amazing synchronicity – I talked about Daryl Hannah and Newhart on the show I recorded the same day as you released this show. But I came to them from a completely different route.

You got to Daryl Hannah because you saw Splash on TV. I got to Daryl Hannah because I saw a photo of her plastic surgery-destroyed face in Us Magazine.

I got to Newhart by thinking of the name Daryl for a girl, coming to the characters “Daryl and Daryl” from Newhart, one of which played by William Sanderson (who was in Blade Runner with Daryl Hannah).

You got to Newhart via Tom Hanks, who was in Splash with Daryl Hannah. Tom’s co-star on Bosom Buddies, Peter Scolari, also appeared on Newhart.

Similar to the Twin Peaks synchronicities recently, this one is also quite amazing and mysterious!

And then related… the other day both Tony Scott and Phyllis Diller died… Phyllis Diller starred in Mad Monster Party, and Tony Scott’s brother made Blade Runner – both of which have the same story line of: Boy meets girl, boy falls in love, realizes girl is a robot, then realizes he himself is a robot”.

    Bizarre…

  2. Oh man! That is a bizarre synchronicity. I’m noticing them more and more in my everyday life, by the way. People usually don’t want to hear about them. “Just coincidence…” They shrug it off…

I haven’t heard your episode that was recorded that same day yet. I’m a little behind on my listening, but I hope to catch up soon. I didn’t know anything about Daryl Hannah’s plastic surgery.

This one’s a definite synchronicity, because you recorded yours earlier in the day I’m guessing, and I released my episode later that evening without knowing yours existed. Cool. 🙂

    Cheers!
