Pocket Overnightscape Reorganzied

The Overnightscape Underground Archive (on contains 4,491 tracks, totaling over 160 days of audio, and 192 GB of data.

Pocket Overnightscape is the same exact archive at a lower bitrate to save space, currently at 39.3 GB.

The current archive is organized by month, which means it’s been very difficult to isolate a specific show – until now! I’ve spent a lot of time sorting through the files to come up with the new version of Pocket Overnightscape, which is now fully organized.

I’ve created a new website with a built-in file browser to explore the archive, and download files. This browser also lets you listen to the tracks. Go to:

This is just a temporary interface, but it works quite well (except for a few bugs) and it allow you to see an overview of the entire archive. In the future I’d like to create something similar but with more features.

Let me know what you think!

  4. Amazing job – you can tell a lot of work went into it. I think this shows the scope of our remarkable sound experiment.
