39:54 – Season’s greetings and goodwill to all!  Christmas past and present collide as Doc Sleaze’s musings on modern festivities are contrasted with archive recordings of Christmas 1940 in war torn London (including part of the real King’s Speech).  While the Doc dissects the ‘Myth of the Perfect Christmas’, battles Christmas shoppers and settles down to enjoy some seasonal TV, 1940 Londoners prepare to enjoy a rationed Christmas in the air raid shelters. (Music: ‘Sleaze’s Greetings’ by Doc Sleaze via Music Maker Jam).
