The Brian Jude Show #46: What Exit Poll? (11/3/10)

32:53 – A “Rampler-like” episode strolling through the streets of Garfield & Passaic, New Jersey, trying not to run out of breath. I talk about my work doing exit polls on Election Day, my thoughts on the current political system, my work as a casting director for the movie/web series(?) “What Exit?,” any my upcoming performance in “Talking God” with the UU Montclair Theatre Group next weekend.

Escapist Radio #4 – The House At Haunted Hill (10/27/10)

49:51 – It’s that time of year once again. A time when children go door-to-door trick-or treating, adults have an excuse to act bizarre and people with certain talents shine in all their glory in the bathing moonlight. Yes, it is Halloween season.

In this episode we are introduced to a couple from Southern California who, for 10 years now, have been passionately displaying their home in the All Hallows Eve Holiday motif.  But somewhere along the way, their passion of simply decorating the outside of their home for tricke-or-treaters turned into a real, honest to Golem high-end Halloween Yard Haunt with professional story production and  state of the art lights, music, performances and special effects. What on this side of reality drives people to do such things for no more than the love of the holiday itself? Listen in and find out.

You can easily find out more about The House At Haunted Hill at their website.

Apologies up front, but this one was a bear to edit due to some serious technical difficulties behind the scenes.  There are a couple of audio level and mix inconsistencies. All are due to temperamental software, flakey hardware and a trans-coder that couldn’t understand what 192 kb/ps was, therefore the show was a day or two delayed – please enjoy anyway and I look forward to your comments here on the ONSUG Forum.

Escapist Radio #3 – Hong Kong Businessmen’s Lunch (10/01/10)

11:18 – It’s a binary day (10-01-10… get it?) release of Escapist Radio Episode 3, and it’s a short one – but long on lessons to be learned when attending a proper Hong Kong businessmen’s luncheon at a proper Hong Kong businessmen’s restaurant. This show was recorded while driving the uncharacteristic uncrowded freeways of Los Angeles County VERY early in the morning.

While today’s content isn’t racy or generally vulgar, those who possibly have a sensitive constitution might want to sit this one out. It’s not gross, just a wee bit disturbing in the end.

37:25 – In this episode our hero recounts an experience whereas his professional career was almost ended by the neurosis and ego of a famous Malibu Diva. But in the end, the joke was on her.
