11:20 – Blind Duncan’s Blues by Arthur Jaz (aka Shambles)
This is my first novel, Blind Duncan’s Blues, which I completed in 2004 and am now releasing here upon an unsuspecting public. Blind Duncan’s Blues is a novel consisting of interrelated short stories about a boy named Duncan Pierce. It covers various incidents in Duncan’s life, ranging from the age of eighteen months through about eleven years. There are eighteen chapters in all, which will be released sporadically on Onsug.com. Read by the author.

1:28:07 – The recording date is May 3rd but I screw up right off the bat and say May 2nd, brief movie review of The Hunger Games, sick day, rants and silliness, sitting on the back patio, old home movies, this time I get the date right, Max Marble, laptop freezing up, some of The Office cast members’ contracts expiring soon, Dwight spinoff idea, Catherine Tate, development of supporting characters, this season without Steve Carell, Hugh Laurie playing an American on House, if Hugh Laurie played Doctor Who, P.G. Wodehouse, Kathy Bates as the ghost of Charlie on Two and a Half Men, Sheldon on The Big Bang Theory, Looking Forward (chunter, Attribution-Noncommercial 3.0), Jackie playing in the van, 11:39?, time deprivation, Star-Burns on Community, library dropoff, I’ve been recording regularly for a year now, Annie’s old apartment, Dark Shadows and Tim Burton’s inability to cast anyone but Johnny Depp as lead, 10:39!, (I can’t remember what I was going to type in parentheses in the show notes), What to Expect When You’re Expecting, gorgeous night, Jane Eyre, sitting on the front porch, bugs, technical difficulties at work, George Harrison documentary on DVR, of Montreal, cast and crew feature on DirecTV, good night. Theme song: Simple Pleasures (Henry Homesweet, Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 2.0 England & Wales).

49:08 – This week Jen, Brian, Alicia & Kay return to Legends Diner in Secaucus, NJ to discuss what they’re manifesting, and how they’re doing it. Playing the role of David is our “Fight Club” friend Melissa. Jen got booked on HBO’s Boardwalk Empire. Kay’s muppet now has a name – and a tail! Alicia did her own purging last week to make room for her step-son, who is now living with her. Brian finished the filmmakers’ reel DVD and proposal for a grant to fund The Miracle Man and has been attracting the Namaste principle into his life in several ways.
Tips this week: Don’t put negative thoughts such as rejection out there as your destiny. You deserve and have to be open to receive the inherent abundance in front of you. Vibroacoustics reveals scientific proof that thoughts produce sound waves that attract other sound waves to you.
Come see Kay in Stephen Sondheim’s “Assassins” at The Barn Theatre in Montville, NJ. May 18, 26, June 1, 2, 8, 9 at 8pm
May 19, 20, 27, June 3 at 2pm
Actors – check out Act Outside the Box, as well as their Facebook page.
Listen to Brian & Kay next Monday, May 7, 2012, 10p-12a EDT on http://wmscradio.com!
