Gunkcast 52: Byron Of The Dead (A Frightfest Double Feature!) (Halloween 2011-2018)

54:16 – We wanted to drop a most frightful last minute surprise with this one! A certain past Gunkcast show host is resurrected for All-Hallows’ Eve of 2018 as we combine our 1st two archival Halloween episodes for a very special Frightfest Double Feature! Originally released as “A Nightmare On Byron’s Street” (2011) and “Byron From The Grave” (2012), these two shows have never been broadcast previously on Onsug. So combine a double-whammy of terrifying classic episodes, add some new commentary from Smidge, & throw in a current pop culture review section to boot (trust us, it’s to die for)… what more can you possible want from a podcast? This one should definitley leave you screaming for more! Cheers!

Gunkcast 46: Halloween H2O (10/30/16)

1:31:02
 – The crypt has opened once again as the scarefest for the podcast returns for a big 2016 outing!  This time Smidge decided to dedicate the show entirely to one of his favorite network of podcasters. That’s right… it’s a Halloween to Onsug!

So for this ghouls night out we have invited as many of the great Onsug hosts to participate as possible. That being said, we received “seven” amazing contributions! Yes, these brave souls stepped up to relate their tales of terror which may just provide some extra thrills (& chills) to haunt you for your All-Hallows’ Eve of 2016! So, as is Halloween tradition for Gunkcast, we bring you all the tricks (or shall we say treats): creepy tales from our stalwart contributors, hair-raising comedy, more conspiracy freak outs, & a review to die for! Oh… and of course a rocking soundtrack to boot (featuring musical contributions from the likes of Letter Seventeen, Jimbo, Curmudgeon, The Gunk U.K., The Warp Zone, & Albert Gyorfi)! Have a frightful Halloween for 2016 all!

Escapist Radio #4 – The House At Haunted Hill (10/27/10)

49:51 – It’s that time of year once again. A time when children go door-to-door trick-or treating, adults have an excuse to act bizarre and people with certain talents shine in all their glory in the bathing moonlight. Yes, it is Halloween season.

In this episode we are introduced to a couple from Southern California who, for 10 years now, have been passionately displaying their home in the All Hallows Eve Holiday motif.  But somewhere along the way, their passion of simply decorating the outside of their home for tricke-or-treaters turned into a real, honest to Golem high-end Halloween Yard Haunt with professional story production and  state of the art lights, music, performances and special effects. What on this side of reality drives people to do such things for no more than the love of the holiday itself? Listen in and find out.

You can easily find out more about The House At Haunted Hill at their website.

Apologies up front, but this one was a bear to edit due to some serious technical difficulties behind the scenes.  There are a couple of audio level and mix inconsistencies. All are due to temperamental software, flakey hardware and a trans-coder that couldn’t understand what 192 kb/ps was, therefore the show was a day or two delayed – please enjoy anyway and I look forward to your comments here on the ONSUG Forum.
