Just FYI, sometimes ‘eaux’ is pronounced ‘oh’ and sometimes ‘ooh’. The names that end in ‘eaux’ generally tend to be French I think. There are several people from Louisiana who I have known that have last names that end in ‘eaux’ and some are OH and some are OOH. 🙂
Your racehorse/horse info was interesting. I have also never bet on horses and really have no desire to do so but I would not mind going sometime and losing $5 (like you). What was really surprising to me was the announcer at the beginning as I have certainly never heard an Aussie race track announcer. Pretty cool.

Eaux sure looks French if nothing else. Comment allez-vous? Ah I sure want to visit the US.
Woo nice to know that the random recording is interesting. 🙂 I can never actually understand a word they’re saying, it’s too noisy! I just like getting caught up in the moment *slams money on the table*
