Wow… just wow. Revisiting Severe Repair, 30 years after I wrote most of it, has been a real roller coaster ride. This section was awesome, and once again, my memories of it have faded so much that it was like reading it anew. I had totally forgotten that Lemon, Granticaine, and Zoipin wound up in Gnoboslast. I really enjoyed that part. And the computer chat featuring Fake Cerquaine’s sister Hester was quite interesting as well. And Piln of Screw Ridge, after the brief scene with Piln, was a story I must have written when I was much younger… great stuff. Once again, I wish my younger self would have kept at it, because there’s so much great stuff in Severe Repair. But I do plan on continuing it in Weird Little Highway, already in progress… it’s funny that a character, Sleap Drassy, was trying to pierce Gnoboslast to see what’s outside of her reality… which she knew could destroy the universe… and then… the universe was effectively destroyed, when I stopped writing it. So I think Sleap will return in the next Weird Little Highway… to see what’s outside of the Severe Repair universe…
