With this in mind, we encourage everyone to download and save their own copies of parts of, or the entire archive, to preserve and share. Overnightscape Central – A Person, a Place & a Thing (9/10/25)

2:56:54 – Dave visits the (purported) final resting place of Daniel Boone, Eddie visits his usual windy outdoor places at 33:51, then Eddie and Brendan meander into an indoor place, an Irish pub with a “thing” taped to the wall, and encounter a person called Freddy at 1:29:12. Later, at 2:01:44, Chad re-visits the history of video games, referencing things like Pong and persons like Ralph Baer, and at 2:29:35 Frank visits a Virginia shopping mall and talks about the National Air & Space Museum and (purported) space in general. Is space a thing, or is it the lack of things? One thing is certain: the Kaufman-faked-his-death thing is still a thing.

Next month’s topics: School Days, Work Hours & Play Time. Record about one, two or all three of these and send audio files or links to DaveKY at mail.com by 6pm Central Time on October 10, 2025.

Show art: Automat (1927) by Edward Hopper (1882-1967) depicts a sneaky time traveler listening to the Overnightscape Central in an automat while cleverly concealing her air buds with her hat brim.

Opening theme: “It’s Central Time Again” (2024) by Dave in Kentucky and Suno.ai (v3.5). Episode theme: “Once there was a Person…” (2025) by Dave in Kentucky and Suno.ai (v3.5). Closing theme: “Noise Rebellion” (2024) by Eddie Murray and Suno.ai (v3).
