The Brian Jude Show #67: Little Shop of Hanukkah (12/16/2011)

43:29 – Recorded December 16, 2011.

My son Jacob’s latest obsession has been “Little Shop of Horrors” – the Off Broadway soundtrack, the movie, different performance clips on YouTube, you name it! So my wife Melanie and I surprised him with an early Hanukkah gift – we took him to the Repertory Company High School for the Theatre Arts, where they did a performance of the show! When the cast heard that we came in from Passiac to see it just because he loves the show, they had the director bring us backstage so they could meet him! Listen along to our adventure – one he’ll treasure for the rest of his life! (Includes a couple vintage TV commercials from the original Broadway show!)

Theme music: “The Chasing Game” by Friday’s Child.

Anybody’s Guess #51: Hellzee Nozo! (12-14-11)

28:55 – Playing CDs in a cold van, overtime, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, mortgage payment, the sounds of money, let’s play a game, school play back in eighth grade, copyright laws, Long John Silver’s, meditation class on hiatus, drawing names for Christmas, one more time! Theme song: Trailed In The Dust (GhostHandPunch, Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works 3.0)

My sincere apologies for the occasional jump edits. Somehow when I mixed this episode together, there were several instances in which the sound dropped for no apparent reason. It turns out those drops are on the master edit and I foolishly deleted the original tracks. I was forced to cut a total of a little over a minute of silenced material. I think it’s still a good enough episode to keep it on the channel though…
