37:00 The Schlock Express is back on the rails, taking a look at London’s Soho in the sixties through a Mondo lens, courtesy of three classic ‘shockumentaries’. First stop is a trek through the ‘West End Jungle’ and its clip joints, photography ‘clubs’ and escort agencies. We also see ‘London in the Raw’, with its vista of East End pubs, West End clubs, meths drinkers, drug addicts, cat food eating beatniks and hair transplants. Finally, we confront ‘Primitive London’ and its tribes of mods, rockers and beatniks, horrible murders and factory farming.

37:19 – Caught between Christmas and New Year Bank Holidays, Doc Sleaze ponders the paradoxes of January Sales in December, online shopping and the neediness of the web and why it has to make everything personal. Meanwhile, ‘Behind the Blue Door’ – the most insightful Dr Who podcast on the net – investigates, with the aid of the Alternative Doctor Who Appreciation Society, the “Doctor Who Never Was”. Finally, Big Ben chimes us into the New Year. Music: ‘Sleaze’s Greetings (New Year Remix)’ by Doc Sleaze via Music Maker Jam.

39:54 - Season’s greetings and goodwill to all! Christmas past and present collide as Doc Sleaze’s musings on modern festivities are contrasted with archive recordings of Christmas 1940 in war torn London (including part of the real King’s Speech). While the Doc dissects the ‘Myth of the Perfect Christmas’, battles Christmas shoppers and settles down to enjoy some seasonal TV, 1940 Londoners prepare to enjoy a rationed Christmas in the air raid shelters. (Music: ‘Sleaze’s Greetings’ by Doc Sleaze via Music Maker Jam).

36:25 - A new start for Doc Sleaze incorporating some musings on the nature space, time and identity with regard to the web. While special guest Hillbilly Joe composes a theme song and tells us of how the Good Doc helped Cletus triumph against all odds in the Fuckle County ‘King of Filth’ contest, the Doc himself asks: ‘Who is Doc Sleaze?’ Will answers be forthcoming? Probably not, but that doesn’t stop Doc from asking the questions.

(2:52:57) Three show hosts and three non-show hosts are here and talking about “Five”: Dave from Kentucky (aka “Chief”) makes his Central debut and talks about his five amazing cats! Dave from Wisconsin talks from the heart about five regrets! Frank Edward Nora is all about the number five! Doc Sleaze is here with a myriad of things! And even Jimbo talks about five things, including Silly Putty and Hee-Haw! All this and the Week in Review!
You’re all invited to be a part of next week’s show; you can tell us all what’s on your mind about the following topic: Blue.  Next week’s show will represent one year with Jimbo at the helm of the Central. In lieu of flowers, Jimbo suggests sending gold.
Please have your contributions sent to Jimbo by 🕖 7 pm EST, December 4, 2017. If you know Jimbo’s e-mail address, send your contribution there. Otherwise, send your contributions to onsugcentral@gmail.com.
