Overnightscape Central – The Annoying, the Amusing & the Amazing (12/10/25)

3:38:17 – Dave in Kentucky is joined by Eddie Murray (at 46:41), Chad Bowers (at 1:20:39), Mike Boody (at 2:35:47) and Frank Edward Nora (at 3:00:01) for an in-depth discussion about the things that annoy us, amuse us and amaze us.

Next month’s topics: The Automatic, the Enigmatic & the Systematic. Record about one, two or all three of these and send audio files or links to DaveKY at mail.com by 6pm Central Time on January 10, 2026.

Show art: Night Windows (1928) by Edward Hopper (1882-1967) depicts our sneaky time traveler from the automat after she has returned to her room and is getting ready for bed, where she will listen to more of the Overnightscape Central before going to sleep.

Opening theme: “It’s Central Time Again” (2024) by Dave in Kentucky and Suno.ai (v3.5). Episode theme: “Some Things May Annoy Us” (2025) by Dave in Kentucky and Suno.ai (v5). Dave’s Segment Theme (at 35:52): “Gravitate to Vertigo” (2025) by Dave in Kentucky and Suno.ai (v4.5). Closing theme: “Noise Rebellion” (2024) by Eddie Murray and Suno.ai (v3).

Onsug Radio Shuffle Mode Special (12/8/25)

4:04:30 – It’s a special edition experiment! Instead of the usual 22 clips, this time we’re doing 70, without the computer voice introducing each clip. Also, the audio is a lo-fi mono, similar to old AM radio, which stimulates the mind differently. I listened to the whole four hours, and it’s quite a trip!

1:13:38 – Continuing the experiment of random Onsug listening! Taken from the complete Onsug archive of nearly 16,000 hours, here are 22 random 3.5 minute clips! Somehow, there’s one repeat clip from last episode, which seems incredibly unlikely, but is still within the realm of possibility. Also, there’s an unbelievable synchronicity, from my most recent episode of The Overnightscape.
