54:06 – A winter wonderland, Taylor Swift, slushy icky mush, problems at the beginning of the workday, snow on the trees and shrubbery, behind on listening to Onsug shows, can’t find the shovel, DVDs of The Office, anxiety, jogger, reading two books at the same time, Langston Hughes’s short stories, The Odds by Stewart O’Nan, evergreens, March, wintertime during my childhood, my first trip to Arizona when I was ten, Long John Silver’s drive-through debacle, chicken soup from Kroger, empty shopping cart in the way, Dante and Plato, Nintendo DS charger, Barnes & Noble café girl, losing stuff, parking space for new and expectant mothers, Schnuck’s ads. 1:13:33 – Taking a trip to the DMV, Pepsi tastes terrible to me now, Dr. Oz’s findings about orange soda, avoiding negative vibes, could have renewed license online, Caroline, inconvenient parking lot, recording from my coat pocket, two documents with my current address, more inconvenient parking lot, traffic school, update on my 100 books/year challenge, Ed McMahon laughed a lot, losing a Wii game we borrowed from the library, the Lumineers, Squeeze Box and cop cars, 1974, Jackie tells me about Groundhog Day, grumpy lady at McDonald’s, babies trying to grab Jackie’s Nintendo DS, the aborted Kilroy short story, cigarette butt, I mistake Mariska Hargitay for Marg Helgenberger, Law and Order episode about pregnant teens, duplicate Big Bang Theory box sets, Sheldon and Amy dating, the way Leonard talks, Sheldon has no deal, Mr. Humphries on Are You Being Served?, Grace and Favour, Sheldon/Penny shipping, Howard went into space, Raj’s selective mutism, Leslie Winkle, my original idea of The Big Bang Theory before I ever saw it, I might just ignore Dr. Oz’s findings. 57:52 – Temperature drop, a Shambleshow is in order for today, feeling like a completely different person, driver’s license renewal, orange Fanta, cold!, starting your car by remote, old VHS tapes good for audio material, Don’t Trust the B____ in Apt. 23 cancelled, networks not giving shows a chance, scanning PDFs, my stupid van doors, Blockbuster closing, audio of final trip to Blockbuster, American Reunion, when DVDs first came out, Four Seasons, watching a movie over and over again, Replay by Ken Grimwood, reading a book over and over again, doors won’t open, barbecue sauce on my recorder, clichés about aging, if I could go back to the past.
