Rubenerd Show 394: The hierarchical coffee episode (4/15/19)

43:59 – Join Ruben in a soulful, bronchital state; a word that almost certainly doesn’t exist. Tape Land 91 – ABM on News Radio (11/7/86)

47:29 – Welcome to Tape Land! On each episode, I’ll present the audio of a cassette tape from my collection. It’s a way to help motivate me to digitize more of my archives.

I taped 1010 WINS news radio on November 7, 1986, hoping to catch the story about ABM magazine. For some reason, I thought I had missed the story, and it wasn’t till several years later that I discovered that I had actually gotten the audio. This is the full audio of that recording – 47 minutes of 1010 WINS from 1986 – very interesting to listen to from a historic perspective. Toward the end of the tape, I break in a few times, overdubbing some audio.

That’s Mike in the interview – they mistakenly call him “Frank”.
