Tape Land 38 – Anything But Monday (more from 2/19/88)

1:02:25 – Welcome to Tape Land! On each episode, I will be presenting the audio of a cassette tape from my collection. It’s a way to help motivate me to digitize more of my archives.

Another episode from my college radio show, Anything But Monday, with co-host Mad Mike. This tape has the first and last hour of a show we did from 2 AM to 8 AM on Friday, February 19, 1988. The middle part of the show has already been released as “Tape Land 31 – Anything But Monday (2/19/88)”.

It’s interesting to hear the difference between the first and last hour… at the beginning we had a lot of energy, but toward the end, we are totally exhausted and not in the mood to be broadcasting.

Notes: (2AM-3AM)  Good morning, destruction, 2:15 AM, student rally, Mike’s car, Reagan rap, playing our carts, exercise, evil, PIST (Popular Insurrectionist Student Troop), Mike’s music, canine companion PSA, TV Tunes, Captain Kangaroo, Little Rascals, cocaine… (7AM-8AM) “University” backwards, Tibetan yogi monks, ABM Magazine #8, interdimensional travel, karma, Velcro, Compact Discs, lasers, evolution, armpits, time travel, Wayne Comic Book Convention, International Student PSA, rebellion on campus, contrivances in nature…
