43:01 – Doc Sleaze enjoys a dose of sex, violence and video piracy via his Roku box as he ponders the legalities of streaming, not to mention the question as to whether streaming TV could make us all famous for fifteen episodes. Along the way we take a look at the treachery of dogs, spanking films as an analogy for the rise of fascism and unreliable memoirs. Includes:
Sex, Violence and Video Piracy ¦ Random Movie Trailer – What Have You Done to Solange? (1972) ¦ UK TV Vintage Dog Food Commercials ¦ Going to the Dogs ¦ Bottoms Up! (1960) Mass Caning Excerpt ¦ Forgotten Film – Education Anglaise (1982) ¦ Bottoms Up! (1960) Trailer ¦ False Memoir Syndrome ¦ Random Movie Trailer – Blood Thirst (1971) ¦ Fame (1980) Trailer ¦ Famous For Fifteen Episodes

1:30:06 – Middle-Eight Dream State is a series that contains longform and/or experimental material and will be released whenever seems appropriate to my weird creative impulses (or possibly once a month). This particular episode consists of a semi-random sound collage of clips from my personal archive of field recordings and audio journal entries. All of these clips are between three and five minutes in length (except the very last one which is about seven minutes), and most of this material has never been released on the Overnightscape Underground in any form. Recorded between 1987 and 2023, compiled 1/23/23. M8D 004.
