    Good show, sir!

I really like the commercial parodies.

I’m not a fan of coffee either.

Until about two years ago I had never seen a What’s Happening? episode. On TV Land or some channel like that I saw a What’s Happening? rerun (no pun intended) and enjoyed it. Wasn’t Janet Jackson in that show as a kid, or am I thinking of something else?

  2. Jimbo says:

    Thanks!

No, Janet Jackson was on “Good Times”; she wasn’t a bad actress. Also, she was not a good actress.

“What’s Happening??” seems to be one of those very rare shows that actually wasn’t very well written, neither funded well, but was a minor hit because of chemistry more than anything else. Hence, “underrated”.

  3. Chad Bowers says:

One of the people from What’s Happening?? or What’s happening Now, may have spoken with Boody. I remember him talking about it.

  4. Jimbo says:

Ah, I had forgotten about WHN!

Also,I wrote something about the show being under-funded (or implied such_ when I find, in fact, it was a Norman Lear production, so, never mind! But still, underrated.

Maybe we can coax Mr. Boody into re-hashing his experience?
