Released March 2013 on The Overnightscape Underground (onsug.com), an Internet talk radio channel focusing on a freeform monologue style, with diverse and fascinating hosts presenting  an array of talk-driven programs that are dedicated to the Magic of the Human Voice!
I found a death notice for a David Irwin, described as an arctc explorer, in the 19 June 1970 edition of the Miami news (via Google News). He was 60 when he died and had been famous for a 2,000 mile single-handed trek across the arctic in 1935. Apparently there is also a film about him on You Tube (actually, a quick look seems to indicate that it is just the soundtrack of one of the radio series episodes with background pictures) and, on ebay, there are some adverts for dog food endorsed by Irwin up for sale.
As you can tell, I’m at a bit of a loose end this Sunday…
