  1. Frank, I did get the link that you sent me that day, and your are correct, I wasn’t able to view it on my phone, plus I got distracted by events…

I was in the Ballsbridge branch of Starbucks, and Winter did visit it according to his website. It hadn’t occured to me that he’d be using public transport. Dublin, and especially it’s suburbs probably isn’t the easiest place to get around, if you want to go to several places in one day. Although a car wouldn’t have been much help in the city centre, if you need to park it.

Nice choice of the Tallaght branch thought…that’s one of our favourites (western suburb of Dublin, about an hour from my home), was there a couple of days ago, if you can make it up the mile-long stairs. That seems to be a pattern lately with the new branches at malls here….they have a 1st floor seating area with a very, very long stairs up to it. (Quite a few new malls have popped up around Ireland in the recent boom years). Think it’s these new malls are intended for large stores that are going to have an escalator

Blackrock also looks like a nice branch…haven’t been in it but it’s a quaint old building that has nice sea views at the rear. Dundrum is a nightmare to park in.

  2. Further to my previous comment, I am an idiot!

The “Tallaght branch”that I was thinking of, is a Costa coffee, not a Starbucks. that possbly explains why I like it.

  3. Re: Can nuns be Star Wars fans?

There’s nothing that prevents a Catholic nun from exhibiting a fandom persay – certain orders would prohibit watching TV or movies while certain orders might not; that ultimately depends. Additionally, nuns take a vow of poverty which would prevent them from buying figurines and other ephemera – there is nothing preventing them from accepting figurines, DVD sets, etc. as gifts. So, a mixed bag Frank.
