Noam Chomsky is a professor of linguistics from MIT, but he has been involved in a sort of political critique for a long time especially how media is controlled and what information is given to the population. You talk about consent a lot in this episode. This was a book that put Chomsky on the map called “manufacturing consent”. There is a documentary on it too. You would love it. A lot of people say he’s the most important intulectual of our time, but really he’s just a dude that for famous for the same ideas you at I have and wrote a shit load of books on it. His lectures are only good for falling asleep to.

Agreed that the ipad is not a cash register. It is annoying. Love the california adventure.
