HOW OLD IS TOO OLD TO WATCH WILLY WONKA? Like kids on Mount Everest, people over 10 probably don’t belong in Willy Wonka Watchers land. I missed this movie when I was a kid and I will never watch it because as an adult I cannot appreciate it the same way its intended audience would. The only adult I think who may have been able to do that just died from shooting a firecracker off his head.

Ya Wonka hater…. 🙂 I guess I saw it before I became so critical, so it’s ‘grandfathered in’ to my memory…. It was a middle budget american flick, tho. Wilder, Jack Albertson, the kid who is Charlie was being groomed to be a kid star and failed, etc. 3 stooges are funny, but laurel and hardy were artists (especially stan… ollie spent a lotta time playing golf during film prep)

Stan was the brilliant one. Stooges stole lots from l&h and none of it was near as good as the original.
