I re-listened to most of this because it occurs to me I never did give my opinion on your accent. I think you have an Aussie accent but it tends to only show up at the end of some of the longer words.
Also, quit pretending to be a doctor. Just kidding 🙂
And you speak English quite well. It seems you spoke in a recent show about how long ago you learned the language, but heck, you speak it better than me. You talk quite fast though and when I first started listening to you, I was tempted to take your shows and slow them down digitally. 🙂 Well, not really. But you know, I talk really slow… I’m not sure how you would go over in Texas. They might tie ya up and put honey and ants on ya.

Tag Herr Jimbo! Sorry, I’m going German on ye’. Last week, I was talking to a colleague’s friend who was working in our offices for a week and he said I didn’t really have much of an Australian accent, it sounded kind of English at times so it’s interesting to hear(/read) what you think! I actually learnt English while at day care I guess? My parents were worried I wouldn’t know what was going on and wrote a sheet with Chinese on it in case the staff needed to use it, but it seems I adapted fine. They still put me in ESL (English as a Second Language) for a couple of years though even though I didn’t need it in the slightest. I think I might just keep the ol’ trap shut in Texas, but the place does intrigue me. One of my ex-colleagues said I didn’t speak fast for him but HE listens to podcasts on 2x speed so maybe he’s the anomaly.
I wanted to be a doctor but cutting people open disgusts me 🙁 Also OTHER PEOPLE’s blood intrigues me but my own blood freaks me out haha
