  1. Norm Macdonald’s most famous one-liner, delivered the Saturday after the OJ verdict: “Our top story tonight, murder is officially legal in the state of California.” It was accompanied by the picture of a smug-looking OJ that you mentioned.

    I never thought of Jagged Little Pill as a concept album; that’s very interesting. Just to add to that, the hauntingly beautiful acapella song at the end would bring the theme full circle when she discovers her boyfriend has been cheating on her.

  2. Haha! I remember the Norm McDonald line, definitely. I don’t know if I can back JLP being a total concept; it just seems like a lot of the themes tie together, and maybe “Ironic” is explaining the hidden track — that she just can’t learn from her mistakes. Thanks for the comment!
