I think the reason L&A sound different on the Melody Roundup is because this was probably middle 1940’s I am guessing or right around there. You can tell from the way the guitars sound, you can tell from the sound of their voices; everything is sounding good and it really didn’t sound that way until the mid-1940’s. Just my opinion.
