Radio Free Shambles: Field Trip to Champaign (8/2/16)
Podcast: Play in new window | Download
2:31:13 – This is one of my earliest recorded adventures that still exists. The sound – recorded on whatever relic of a cell phone I had back in 2011 – is of somewhat lesser quality than my usual audio works, but I believe there is still a lot here to enjoy. At any rate it is an important recording in my personal history, back before I had any idea what the hell I was doing. Recorded 6/9/11.

Shambles: there does seem to be something important about this recording. I listened to this yesterday but I am going to listen to it again because I want to take it all in again. Will tell ya later what I thought of it.

First off, while listening the first time, maybe a minute before you were talking of BStanwyck, my brother said her name.
Your talk of the movie critics was the best minutes I think I have heard from you, I truly believe that. It was as if I was right next to you and not only that, but that you were talking to me and me only. That shows me that all along you have had a big talent for this kind of thing.

Thanks very much, Jimbo! Actually I felt like my rampling was pretty clunky in this but maybe I was just being hard on myself because I would do it differently today. But maybe I should give it another listen myself.
There are other 2011 recordings that will probably see the light of day soon. I just need to do some editing on them first, make sure I don’t incriminate myself on them or anything.
