  1. Hey Frank, thanks for the slotradio recommend, I agree with the joy of surprise and discovery that comes with freeing oneself from the programming duties of a music device, although I listen to a lot of podcasts, I keep an XM subscription because I enjoy the work that other people have put into programming a station.
It would help a lot of people to relax, if they could let go of some of the work required by our digital media world, at some point constant search and programming become exhausting, one youtube clip to the other, one website to the other, 15 seconds of one song before I get impatient and start looking, browsing for something better to listen to, it is great, incredible even to have that as an option, but it is wise, the not make it the only option.

It reminds me of a social phenomena that I enjoy as well. Think of all the great humor discussion, and interactions encountered by people who are either at work, or at lunch, or in a classroom, dorm room, and many other places that would not have been enjoyed if one were totally in control of where they were, and what they were doing. On the one hand, you may have personally desired to have a private apartment, but because of the forces socialization of certain situations, unique experiences were generated.

    Chad
