I can’t believe I forgot another Doppelganger story which I should have told. I was with my family at Costco several years ago when I swore I saw my Father-in-law. I told my wife “there’s your Dad!” She started to go up to the guy & suddenly realized it was just the Doppelganger. They just always seem to show up when shopping… 😉

But Frank…. Weezer were already a band in 1992! Not sure Rivers Cuomo could possibly be Kurt Cobain re-emerging under a new identity (lol). Now the Paul McCartney one has always made me wonder and is really quite fascinating. Also, that Fisher Spooner guy as your doppelganger? Hmmmm…I’m not sure I see it. But I would really dig having J. Mascis for a doppelganger!

Frank, if you never heard Dinosaur Jr’s 1st two LPs… check out “You’re Living All Over Me” and “Bug.” Indie rock awesomeness! It may make you more a fan.
