I never had heard of the story lady – I wonder if it was from television and has been converted to audio?
The Jack Benny program you played I believe is the episode with the longest laugh in it of all of his shows. BTW, there are some great interviews with ‘experts’ of various otr shows which I conducted over 2-3 year time span, including one with Laura Leff, who really is the authority on the Jack Benny Show. I’ll bet you could include some of those tidbits in future shows.
