I make up junk all the time on my shows, even when telling a mostly-true story, especially when I am feeling good. After all, we are trying to be entertaining. Few of us have entertaining lives. Imagination is where it’s at.
I also re-tell stories I have told on air all the time. The endings may even be different or I may embellish. Just trying to be entertaining.
